STOVE & OVEN ISSUES

DOESN’T IGNITE

For an electric stove does not ignite, check if the stove is plugged in and all circuit breakers are switched on. You need to check the pilot light on gas appliances. If the appliance power cord is plugged in or if the pilot light is on, that means a different part will need to be fixed. The reason for the problem might be the infinite switch, surface element, burner igniter or broil and bake element.

BURNER WILL NOT HEAT

A burner or stove or oven with no produce heat won’t do much good. An oven will not heat when there’s a broken oven sensor or a malfunctioning bake element. Your burner does not fire up when an element is broken or if the burner switch or terminal block don’t work. We can repair these problems in less than 1-2 hours after our arrival.

PROGRAM ISSUES

You can assume the control panel on a stove is broken when the timer or program settings do not work. In this case, we are able to replace control panels on Sears, GE, LG, Kenmore, KitchenAid and many other brands and models of ovens, ranges and stoves. We offer a warranty on control panels and the manufacturer replacement parts we install for this type of oven repair service.

OVEN IS TOO HOT

You always should have a hot oven. But not too hot! If the oven heat is out of control, it could be because of a problem with the thermostat or sensor. Our technicians know how to identify the cause of the problem and then fix it. But be careful if troubleshooting this issue for fear of skin burns from the high and totally unpredictable heat source.

IGNITER WON’T LIGHT

A common stove problem is times where an igniter will glow but will not light. The cause is from a broken surface igniter, safety valve, electronic control or temperature sensor. We can determine whether we are able to fix these parts or if we will need to replace the part.

DOOR DOES NOT OPEN

Newer self-cleaning ovens sometimes have door issues. The door doesn’t open after the cleaning cycle. We monitor the door closure, thermostat and seal to troubleshoot why the door does not open and then we complete the repair so we can put an end to the problem.
